The consolidation of Serra Soldadura de México has been reinforced since 2022 with a new plant of more than 9,000 m² within the Finsa Industrial Park in Puebla, consolidating as an essential pillar to strengthening the North American market among increasingly global customers and projects.
The plant has a multidisciplinary highly qualified team that tackles large-scale, complex projects to provide solutions to new technical challenges at plants in Mexico, Canada and the United States.
Projects for First-Tier suppliers
Among other projects, several large assembly and welding installations of side pannels has been turn-key delivered for plants in the United States: Mason (MI), and Tracy (CA), or Front & Rear Sub Frame projects with MIG welding in coated steel for Chelsea (MI) and Chattanooga (TN).
Concerning the Mexican market, several Cross Car Beam assembly and welding projects have been carried out in MIG welding for steel or aluminum destined for the plants in Puebla and San José Iturbide, as well as several Front & Rear Bumper projects for plants in Puebla.
Front and rear sub frame projects have also been executed with MIG welding of coated steel for plants in Ramos Arizpe or San Luis Potosi.
Serra Soldadura de México has completed over 40 projects of varying complexity within the automotive sector.
